Clean Car Interior Leather and Vinyl

How to clean car interiors:film The Great Wall 2016 trailer

URAD was developed in Italy almost 40 years ago as a one step product to clean and condition leather furniture. So, it is perfect for leather car interiors and you can also use it on your vinyl and rubber. Clean a car seat whether it be vinyl or leather. Use URAD on your vinyl dash or steering wheel or inside door panels.

Clean Leather Car Seats:

Take a small amount onto the sponge provided. Wipe off all excess so there is none on the surface of the sponge. You just want what is in the sponge. Work it into the leather seat (or vinyl); it will clean the dirt out and put the natural oils back in to the leather or vinyl. The carnauba wax in the URAD will alsoprotect the leather seat against water, body oils and dirt and soiling from clothing. If you are doing all the seats in the car work the sponge until it starts to drag – that is when you get some more from the jar. As long as the sponge is moving easily then you likely have enough. Work a section at a time. If the car seats that you are working on are particularly dirty then you may want to use more than one sponge. The sponge will pull the dirt out and it can get pretty dirty. It can be rinsed out for another use but don’t use the sponge wet. If the leather is not that dirty and you are mostly conditioning the leather then you will not likely need more than one sponge.

Generally, one would treat the leather cars seats about every six months to a year. You may do the drivers seat a little more often because of the increased wear.live streaming film online

Many people that I talk to at trade shows have realized that Armor All is not that great as a dashboard cleaner. URAD is equally as effective on vinyl as leather – it is not sticky afterwards like Armor All. Dashboard cleaning with Armor All leaves it sticky, attracting dust and dirt. In the sun it can dry the vinyl out. URAD gives keeps the vinyl hydrated and gives it some UV protection. Work it in the same way you would for the leather – use a little bit at a time. “If you see it on the surface of the sponge, you have too much.”

Vinyl Car Covers
Vehicle covers are mostly made of vinyl and get some serious exposure to the weather. That is kind of the point as they are put on to protect the automobile. How often you want to condition a van cover or auto cover depends on how long you want it to last. They are much larger and will take more URAD to clean and condition. Once a year is usually more than enough to treat them and even then you may only want to treat areas that get a little more stressed than others.

Clean Tires
You can clean tires with URAD as well as it does a very good job with rubber as well. The rubber gaskets around doors on vintage cars can be made to last much longer with a little bit of URAD applied once every year or two. Over the years that rubber can get dried out and URAD replaces the moisture. If you are showing a car use URAD as a white wall cleaner just before the show.

Rubber Floor Mats
You can even clean up rubber or plastic floor mats for cars or trucks with URAD
